Before any paint goes on, we protect what matters. Furniture is moved or covered, floors are masked and shielded, and fixtures are carefully taped off so nothing gets damaged or splattered.
Every wall and ceiling is inspected first. Holes, dents, and damaged areas are filled and patched with sheetrock compound, then sanded smooth so the finished surface looks uniform — not bumpy or patched.
Trim work gets special attention. If you are not sure what kind of paint was used on your trim before, we run a small test to find out whether it is oil-based or latex. Painting latex directly over oil without the right prep will peel, so we make sure the surface is properly cleaned, scuffed, and primed before the finish coat.

We cut out damaged material, hang new board, then tape, float, and sand everything smooth. If your wall or ceiling already has texture, we match the surrounding pattern so the repaired area blends in and looks as close to the original as possible.

Before any painting starts we move or cover furniture, mask trim and fixtures, and protect floors so the only thing that changes in the room is the finish.
Can you repair drywall damage before painting?
Yes. Sheetrock repair, patching, and texture matching are part of our interior work, so repaired areas blend into the surrounding wall or ceiling before paint goes on.
Can you paint over existing oil-based trim?
We test the existing finish first. Latex applied directly over oil paint can peel, so when we find oil-based trim we prime correctly before the finish coats.
